Jakub Gontarski

I am Jakub, a certified breathing and movement therapist and trainer. Since childhood, I have been passionate about movement training, exploring the body’s capabilities, and understanding its impact on health and human potential.

Since 2016, I have focused on developing a proper and conscious breathing pattern. I conduct individual training sessions/courses and corporate workshops across Poland, both in person and online.

My role is to propose, guide, and support individuals and groups in their development. I draw on my knowledge, experience, and fresh practical insights, while engaging in dialogue and analyzing each client’s needs and possibilities.

• CERTIFIED BREATH THERAPIST Poland (Akademia Oddechu – Breath Academy)
• Certified Trainer for the Oxygen Advantage® and Buteyko Clinic International® 
• Certified Personal Trainer under the mentorship of Steve Maxwell (USA) and other experts – specializing in comprehensive fitness training
• 30+ years of experience in sports, martial arts, and dance

• Certified Physical Recreation Instructor with a specialization in self-defense (AZS-AWF Wrocław)
• Graduate of the “13” Wrocław Film Stunt School under Marek Sołek (training included wrestling, fencing, aikido, krav maga combat – kalaki, acrobatics, parachute and diving courses, horseback riding)
• 9 years as a judo competitor for Gwardia Wrocław and AZS Wrocław
• 10 years dedicated to capoeira (in Europe and Brazil)
• 7 years engaged in contemporary dance (contact improvisation, floor work, partnering, acting training)
• Leader of the BodyConstitution research and educational program at the Jerzy Grotowski Institute in Wrocław
• Lecturer and breathing trainer at the Wrocław Academy of Theatrical Arts
• President of the MOMENTUM Creative Initiatives Association, which focuses on movement education and co-organizes the Wrocław Movement and Dance Festival “CYRKULACJE”
